The smell of bread pudding in the oven makes it official... It's Christmas time!!! It's one of the most requested desserts within the Dill family. Whenever there is a big, fun family get together, there might be other desserts, but there is always, always bread pudding! Yum!

1. Butter a 1.5 quart baking dish
2. Place 3-4 cups soft bread crumbs in dish (I just tear my sandwich bread into crouton size pieces... I even leave the crust on)
3. Blend: 2 cups milk and 1/4 cup butter in pot over medium heat until butter in melted
4. Remove from heat and add:
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
5. Pour liquid mixture over crumbs
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes

Serve warm and topped with whipped cream or drizzled with praline or caramel sauce!!! Or, it's delicious enough to serve with no toppings!
